My Story - A Call to Action

When you are emotionally unwell, it's hard to get going. I get that, whether you are wanting to make a change in your life for the better, just need a "tune-up," or have recently received a life-limiting diagnosis and want to work on your bucket list, begin legacy building, and begin having those difficult conversations regarding end of life, I am here to support you every step of the way.

Welcome, I'm Dr. Jen Willoughby, a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT),  Reiki Practitioner, and an End of Life Doula. I have spent the last 20 years studying, practicing, and teaching occupational therapy and was called to seek out eastern medicine philosophy and incorporate it into what I have learned in my practice. This has given me a wider platform to help my clients achieve the greater accomplishment of well-being, both mentally and physically.

I'm THRILLED to bring my practice right into our little town of LEXINGTON, adjacent to Ember Health & Wellness Center and Lexington Nutrition. This is where my HEART is! I look forward to serving Sanilac County.

My Personal Experience with Burnout and Self-Care Journey

In my own life experience, I too found little time for my own self-care. I was depleted! I applied what I have shared with so many others in my profession, and made my own wellness a priority!  This has allowed me to achieve much more joy in the present moment! To be more in touch with my authentic self. To use healthy tools more frequently to manage the stressors in life, and build a healthy immune system during the pandemic to maintain well-being.
